(USA) Sales Support Executive - Full-time

pspan style="font-size: 22px"Role Responsibilities:/span/p ul li style="list-style-type: none;" ul liComplete transactional air and ocean pricing requests and spot quotes/li liReview and understand client shipment requirements when quoting/li liAnalyze and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing, or carriers to meet necessary requirements, specifications, and costs/li liResponsible for building relationships with internal sales and operations teams to gain understanding of market trends and seasonality to provide accurate quotes/li liFollow up with sales and record rate requests results/li liWork on special projects and reports as needed/li liFor additional training and if time permits, team member can work on RFQs. They will act as the single point of contact and communication, to the sales team, monitoring the flow of client tender submissions in and out of the Tender Management process. They will provide daily management of the bid process and create internal Excel templates. This training will provide a career path for team members./li liOther duties as assigned by management./li /ul /li /ul pbr/p pspan style="font-size: 22px"Qualifications:/span/p p /p ul liBachelor’s degree from a reputable university./li liMinimum 2+ years of experience in pricing or operations within the freight forwarding industry./li liKnowledge of how freight moves, standard industry charges, and incoterms./li liExcellent organization, analytical, written, and oral communications skills./li liStrong time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, while exercising sound judgement./li liCandidates must be self-motivated, customer service oriented, and eager to ensure the success of the team./li liAbility to function independently, with minimal supervision, and thrive within a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment./li liHigh attention to detail./li liEffective time management skills./li liAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills - analyze large amount of data using formulas./li liManage and prioritize workload, ability to manage a mix of issues and requests./li liStrong reasoning skills and ability to offer both written and verbal advice./li liAbility to work flexible hours to accommodate colleagues in other time zones and to meet client deadlines./li /ul
