Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.p style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/ph2ubJOB DESCRIPTION/b/u/h2pspanCandidate will be responsible for directing high-quality, fast-paced local newscasts; collaborate with the News and Engineering/Production departments to meet technical requirements and ensure a clean broadcast; assist News Producers as necessary with all technical aspects of newscast. Additional duties include directing specials and other programming as assigned by the Engineering/Production department. /span/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/ppMust have at least 10 years of major market directing experience at a commercial broadcast station or production facility, with a focus on News. Experience coding for Production Automation systems is required; familiarity with Sony ELC is beneficial; ability to work effectively as a member of a team in a high-pressure environment. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, early mornings, and holidays.
