We are a boutique law firm in Carlsbad and Laguna Niguel practicing in Trusts & Estates.  Our legal team needs help as we are growing rapidly.

If you have prior experience in a law firm or in a professional setting or have done clerical work in the past and you are looking for an opportunity to work with an awesome team that enjoys helping others, our firm may be the work family you’ve been looking for. Our Estate Planning law firm is looking for someone who is focused, has a high attention to detail and is comfortable with a fast-paced work environment. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!

This position is part-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in our Carlsbad office. Compensation is $25/hour.

We need our new teammate to join us and help us with the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare funding letters and tool kits for clients
  • Check names, DOB and dates in documents & asset spreadsheets for accurateness
  • Make minor edits as needed
  • Print documents and place in client binder or portfolio
  • Prepare client binders/portfolios for notary
  • Scan client documents after signings to firm drive
  • Copy client documents to flash drive
  • Prepare letters to County Recorder’s offices enclosing deeds with checks
  • Process deeds returned from Recorder’s office
  • Schedule client’s binder/portfolio pickups
  • Miscellaneous tasks to assist legal team
  • Be a backup to the receptionist
