Overview:
I Scream Gelato is looking for a Gelato/Ice Cream server to join our team. We are located at 5880 State Highway 121, Suite 102A, Plano, Texas 75024. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and a hard-working individual that already has experience as a server within the restaurant industry.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve guests all menu items in accordance with established service and build-out standards.
- Process guest transactions of purchased menu selections at the register and receive/process payment.
- Maintain store cleanliness and follow all proper sanitation guidelines.
- Deliver excellent guest service to all customers.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering ingredients and supplies
- Follow I Scream Gelato’s established safety, grooming, uniform, and employee conduct standards.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in product quality
Requirements:
Prior experiences as a server within the restaurant industry is required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older (18+)
- Ability to operate POS system
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Food handler’s certificate
- Great communication skills
- Barista or Gelato/Ice Cream shop experience a plus

Required qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in the food & restaurant industry
- 18 years or older
- Restaurant back of house skills: safe food handling
- Restaurant front of house skills: front counter
- Restaurant front of house skills: hosting
- Restaurant front of house skills: point of sale (POS) operation
- Available to work: weekends
- Available to work: weekdays
