Senior Accountant – Manufacturing/Fixed Assets

Location: Deer Park, TX

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and equipment transfers.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and accruals.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management.
• Support process improvements and automation initiatives within accounting functions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and other departments.

Senior Accountant Requirements:

• 2–5+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant (manufacturing industry experience a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Strong knowledge of fixed assets and equipment transfer processes.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP).
• Experience preparing account reconciliations.
• Familiarity with SAP S4 HANA preferred.
