\nLocation Notes : RTG Clinical Team will be conducting all phone screens.
\nDress Code: Any color of professional scrubs.
\nNo scrubs with other facility names or logos.
\nNo sweatshirts or sweatpants allowed.
\nNo restrictions on hair color, no offensive tattoos, and no color permitted on nails.
\nRecommended hotels in Brookings: Hampton Inn, Quality Inn, My Place Hotel, and Econo Lodge Inn.
\nDepartment Notes : There are four hallways/neighborhoods.
\nEach hallway has their own dining area with a full kitchen.
\nThere is a tub room and bath aide on staff who will take care of resident bathing.
\nSouthridge - LTC/Rehab (13-15 residents); Morning View - Memory Care (9-10 residents); Sunshine - LTC (22 residents); Robinsview - LTC.
\nULC utilizes consistent staffing and prefers for agency to work in the same hallways when possible; however, agency will float to all hallways as needed.
\nIdeal staffing pattern (subject to change based on census, acuity, and absences).
\nDAYS: 2 RNs, 2 Bath aides, 1-2 Restorative Aides, 1-2 Med Aides, 8 CNAs split between 4 units.
\nEVENING: 1 RN, 1-2 Med Aides, 8 CNA split between 4 units.
\nNIGHTS: 1 RN, 1-2 Med Aides, 6 CNAs split between 4 units.
\nComputer Charting: Point Click Care.
\nThere are kiosks on the wall within each hallway.
\nUtilize Avera for Pharmacy services.
\nNo IV medications administered; they use bubble packs for medication distribution.
\nCommunication: RNs are provided with phones.
\nTravel pairs are not permitted.
\nSpecialty Profile Notes : Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience working as an RN in LTC/SNF setting.
\nWill also take an LPN (instead of RN) and the rate decreases to $64.00/hour.
\nLicensed to practice as RN in State of South Dakota and BLS issued through American Heart Association required.
\nShifts: Day 6:00am-6:30pm; Nights 6:00pm-6:30am.
