American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an inpatient rehab position at a hospital setting in California.
Details- Inpatient rehab unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 13-week contract
- Active CA Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration
- Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing individualized physical treatment programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function
- Develops and updates patient Plans of Care (POC) based on evaluation findings and clinical diagnoses
- Coordinates patient care with interdisciplinary team members and support staff
- Provides clinical supervision to PT assistants and aides, and may serve as clinical instructor for students
- Performs EHR documentation including patient evaluations, treatment records, and charge capture
- Participates in quality improvement processes and interdisciplinary projects
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
