JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Anesthesiologist Cardiac Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Florence, SC Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: June 23, 2025- Open Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon Fri, 10-hour days On-Call Shift Schedule: Mon Fri, 5p 7a; weekend call coverage Call Type: Beeper Callback Rate: Low call back volume PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Rounding: Not Included Phone Consults: Yes Case Mix: Bread and Butter Cardiac Cases FACILITY INFORMATION Reason for Coverage: Vacation Coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (provided clean background) COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Rate: TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES Bread and Butter Cardiac Anesthesia JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active SC license in hand Board: BC/BE in Anesthesiology (Cardiac Focused) DEA: Active DEA Certification Certifications: BLS, ACLS Experience: Cardiac Anesthesia experience required Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Epic EMR systems DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide anesthesia services for cardiac procedures Take night call from home Monday through Friday Manage pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative anesthesia care Ensure low call-back response efficiency Complete hospital modules and EPIC training as required
