Touchmark on West Prospect, Appleton’s leading full-service retirement community, is looking for a friendly and skilled Bistro Attendant / Bartender to join our hospitality team. In this unique, non-tipped role, you’ll serve beverages and light fare to our residents and their guests in an upscale bistro setting — no late-night bar hours, and no rowdy crowds — just meaningful service in a welcoming environment where every interaction matters. What You'll Do: Bistro Attendant Duties: • Welcome residents and guests with warmth and professionalism • Take food and beverage orders, make recommendations, and ensure prompt service • Serve meals and beverages while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation • Process orders through MICROS and handle payments accurately • Bus tables, maintain a clean dining area, and reset for the next guest • Assist in food prep, stock rotation, and general upkeep of the bistro and prep areas • Support catered events and special functions as needed • Attend team meetings and complete assigned side work Bartending Duties: • Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages • Check guest identification and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws • Monitor inventory, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness of the bar area • Recommend drinks, develop occasional seasonal cocktails, and promote menu specials • Handle transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer/bank at end of shift What We’re Looking For: • Must be 18+ years old • High school diploma or equivalent • Village of Fox Crossing Bartender’s License, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire • Prior restaurant or bartending experience preferred • Strong communication skills and a positive, engaging personality • Professional appearance and attention to detail • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays • Basic math and computer skills • Strong time management and multitasking ability Why You'll Love Working Here: • No late nights — enjoy your evenings without the bar rush • Non-tipped role — consistent pay without relying on gratuities • Work in a beautiful setting with respectful, appreciative guests • Be part of a supportive team focused on hospitality, care, and connection Apply today to bring your energy, creativity, and customer service skills to a role where every shift is rewarding — in more ways than one Benefits: Touchmark is dedicated to providing the best for our residents, and it all begins with providing the best for our employees.
