2nd Shift Press Brake Operator

Location: Kenosha WI/Sturtevant

Schedule: 1st Shift 5:00am-1:30pm

Pay rate: $22.50hr starting

Duties:

• Form Parts: Bend and shape cold rolled, stainless steel, and aluminum parts according to manufacturing procedures and scheduling requirements.
• Machine Operation: Set up and operate.
• Tool Management: Select, load, and install appropriate tooling; maintain an organized, clean tool inventory.
• Dimensional Accuracy: Measure and verify dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces.
• Product Staging: Stage completed products on skids for further processing.
• Documentation & Instructions: Work from live schedules, bills of material, routing sheets, blueprints, samples, and control plans.
• Quality Control: Inspect products to ensure they meet or exceed customer standards.
• Material Flow: Assist with moving raw materials and finished goods efficiently; maintain organized work areas.
• Team Support: Provide assistance in downstream operations as needed based on workload and flow.

   Requirements:
   • Experience: Minimum 3 years of press brake setup and operation experience
   • Metal Fabrication: Prior background in metal fabrication required.
   • Technical Skills: Proficient in dimensional measuring, shop math, and blueprint reading.
   • Quality Focus: Ability to inspect and verify own work to high-quality standards.
   • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; able to stand for extended periods.
   • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with team members and supervisors.
   • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
   • Flexibility: Willing to work overtime as required and assist in other fabrication areas when needed.
