The Associate Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a partner to the leadership team through understanding the business conditions of the team and incorporating corporate HR strategy. This position will support 3rd shift associates and leaders at Swagelok's Order Fulfillment Center (OFC). The Associate HRBP 3rd shift recieves a 10% off-shift pay differential and the option of a 4 day x 10 hour day work week (M-Th 10pm-8am). **Essential Duties & Responsibilities:** • Ensure proper communication and understanding of company benefits, compensation, training, development plans, and policy & procedure interpretation. • Conduct Exit Interviews for each voluntary departing associate; conduct skip levels and provide feedback to HR Managers so they may build themes for collective feedback we are receiving from departing associates. Utilize these tools in understanding the Voice of the Associate. • Investigate associate issues and complaints in a timely, professional manner; respond to and resolve issues as appropriate. Partner with HR Management team to provide the manufacturing management team with appropriate advice and counsel on associate issues. • Assist the manufacturing leadership team in performance management, not just on an annual basis but throughout the year by coaching management team on appropriate goal setting, coaching, and feedback. Partner with other members of the HR team for guidance and consistency in approach. **Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:** Required: • A Bachelor’s degree is required • 2+ years of professional experience Preferred: • A Bachelor’s degree in HR, psychology or business • 2+ years of human resource experience. Manufacturing industry experience preferred but not required. Hourly workforce HR experience preferred. Skills: Computer software skills (i.e. MS Office, Org Plus, etc.), interviewing, facilitation, and presentation skills. Excellent oral and written communication. Must be able to resolve conflict and manage relationships. Exceptional customer service, sense of urgency, and detail orientation is required. Broad organizational knowledge is preferred. **Critical Competencies:** Effective Communications Influence Interpersonal Savvy Collaboration **Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:** + Working conditions associated with normal office environment. + Ability to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, telephone, copier, printer, etc.). + Ability to effectively communicate in both small and large groups and settings. + Ability to traverse between multiple locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania as needed. + Occasional domestic and/or international travel may be required. + Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity standards. + Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
