Job Description
Are you a New Graduate in MRI? We're looking for enthusiastic, compassionate graduates to join our imaging team. License-pending candidates are encouraged to apply! We are hiring a PRN / Per Diem MRI Tech that can learn and grow with our organization.
About the Role: As an MRI / Radiology Tech 4 at Memorial Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients. You will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, bone densitometry, mammography and ultrasound and ensuring that the images produced are of the highest quality. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will be essential in accurately interpreting the results of these procedures and communicating them to the appropriate medical professionals. You will work closely with other members of the healthcare team to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology or similar program.
- License from IEMA.
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (RT).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Vaccinations per IDPH, CDC and CMS.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
- Ensure that images produced are of the highest quality
- Accurately interpret the results of imaging procedures and communicate them to the appropriate medical professionals
- Maintain accurate and complete records of all imaging procedures performed
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care
Skills:
As a MRI / Radiology Tech 4, you will use your technical expertise and attention to detail to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and accurately interpret the results. You will also use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other members of the healthcare team and ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. Your experience with advanced imaging techniques and electronic medical records (EMR) systems will be beneficial in this role. Additionally, your ability to work with diverse patient populations will be essential in providing compassionate and culturally sensitive care.
