Education: High School Diploma preferred

Job Description

· Completes a wide range of shipping, receiving, packaging, marking and stocking tasks

· Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage

· Performs packing, packaging and labeling of finished product

· Uses various shipping programs for Fed Ex, UPS, etc.

· Utilizes computerized or automated systems for shipping purposes

· Proficiency with electronic transactions including ASN’s and supplier portals is preferred

· Ensures product shipping documentation is in appropriate packages and provided for shipment as needed

· Maintains proper quantities for shipments and stock

· Must be available to work some overtime and physical inventories as needed

· Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations

· Assists in delivery activities as needed.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 2 years shipping/receiving or related experience

· Ability to operate a forklift

· Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Must be quality minded

· Must be computer literate

· Must be detail oriented, including counting

· Must be able to work independently, and ability to pivot with short notice.

· Must be punctual, positive-minded and work well with others

· Bonus: Process improvement and implementation experience
