The Opportunity
We're seeking a Kitchen Manager to join our Wentzville location and help lead our continued growth. This role offers tremendous advancement potential - many of our managers advance to Kitchen Manager or higher positions within 6-12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Leadership: Oversee both back-of-house and front-of-house operations
- Buffet Management: Maintain fresh, high-quality food presentation on our 95% buffet layout
- Team Development: Train and mentor front-of-house staff (6-7 during lunch, up to 20 on weekend evenings)
- Quality Control: Handle guest relations and maintain our high service standards
- Multi-Venue Oversight: Ensure seamless integration between dining and arcade operations
- Food Safety: Maintain all health and safety protocols
What We're Looking For
- Availability: Open availability essential, especially nights and weekends (our bread and butter hours)
- Restaurant Experience: Background in both kitchen and front-of-house operations preferred
- Leadership Skills: Experience training and mentoring team members
- Adaptability: Comfort managing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment
- Customer Focus: Commitment to exceptional guest experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Catering experience (beneficial but not required)
- Multi-unit restaurant experience
- Experience working with younger team members
Compensation & Benefits Package
Base Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $17/hour
- Weekly Hours: 50-55 hours
- Annual Equivalent: $48,000-$56,000
- Overtime Advantage: No tax on overtime hours
Performance Incentives:
- Annual Bonus: $5,000 target (paid monthly)
- Bonus Potential: Up to 125% of target based on performance
