Special Education Teacher in Philadelphia, PA

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education teaching position is available in Philadelphia, PA, starting August 19th with student classes beginning September 2nd. This contract role involves working within learning support and inclusion settings for early elementary grades.

Opportunities include:

• Learning Support for Grades 1st & 2nd: Supporting small groups (up to 12 students) in Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies
• Learning Support for Grades 2nd & 3rd: Providing targeted small-group instruction in core subjects

Hours are 8:00 am to 3:45 pm, Monday through Friday. The position emphasizes collaboration with teachers and staff to deliver specialized instruction aligned with student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching license

• Ability to develop and implement small group interventions in academic subjects
