The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the Shared Services Accounting team, supporting multiple business units across the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with GAAP, and driving process improvements across accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:General Accounting & Reporting
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close activities.
Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and internal reporting packages.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Shared Services Support
Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple entities.
Support centralized AP/AR processes and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline shared services operations.
Audit & Compliance
Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
Maintain compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Process Improvement
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Support ERP system upgrades and automation initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with operations, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost accounting and inventory valuation.
Provide financial insights and support to business unit leaders.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred).
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or shared services environment.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
Advanced Excel skills; experience with data analysis and reporting tools a plus.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
