Job Description
Position requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, eligibility to begin the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under ASHA supervision, and eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
A K-12 school district in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to fulfill a Contract role providing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) services. This position offers the opportunity to support diverse student populations across a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students from kindergarten through grade 12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in relevant meetings and provide training or consultation as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility for or current Connecticut state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Completion or active participation in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Familiarity with K-12 school environments and educational service delivery models
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff
