Special Education Teacher - Brockton, MA

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Special Education teaching position offers the opportunity to work with K-8 students in an elementary school setting from August 25, 2025, to June 23, 2026. The role focuses on providing tailored instruction to a small group of nine students, supporting their learning goals in both ELA and Math through targeted pull-out services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction in English Language Arts and Mathematics to K-8 students with moderate disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create individualized learning plans
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet specific needs
• Maintain detailed records and municate regularly with families and school personnel
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and confidence

Qualifications:

• Valid K-8 Moderate Disabilities teaching license
• Experience working with K-8 students in special education settings
• Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and related instructional methods
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs
