Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support K-5 students across two to three school sites. This is a contract position for the upcoming school year, based in Chesterfield, SC. The role involves providing direct speech therapy services within a public school environment serving children from kindergarten through fifth grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 20 students in grades K-5.
- Implement and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) using the EDPlan system to ensure compliance and effective documentation.
- Coordinate services efficiently across two to three school sites to meet students needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student communication goals.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with children in a K-5 educational setting.
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation processes.
- Ability to manage caseloads and service delivery across multiple sites.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
