Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Riverside, CA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to fill a leave position for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract role serves students from kindergarten through 6th grade and begins in August, with an expected end date of December 19, 2025. There is a strong possibility for contract renewal beyond this date.
Responsibilities include providing assessment, diagnosis, and individualized speech and language interventions to K-6 students within the school setting. The SLP will collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students communication development and educational success in compliance with district and state guidelines.
Ideal candidates will possess one or more of the following qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as an SLP
- Eligibility or certification as an SLP in school settings
Additional qualifications include strong communication skills, experience working with children in a K-6 educational environment, and knowledge of therapeutic techniques tailored for young learners.
