Traveling Special Education Teacher Self-Contained Classrooms & Resource Rooms
Location: Various School Sites in Georgia
Contract Type: Full-Time, 20252026 School Year

Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking an experienced and adaptable Special Education Teacher to work in self-contained classroom settings serving students with moderate to severe disabilities. This is a traveling position that will support multiple schools within the assigned region. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing individualized instruction, skilled in managing diverse needs, and flexible in adapting to different school environments.
Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction to students with moderate to severe disabilities in self-contained classroom settings.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Adapt curriculum, materials, and instructional strategies to meet each students needs.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other team members to support student success.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Travel between assigned schools as scheduled.

Qualifications:

• Required: Active Georgia Special Education Teaching License.
• Preferred: Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and teams.

Position Details:

• Start Date: August 2025
• End Date: May 2026
• Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
• Setting: Self-contained classrooms, multiple school sites
