- Compensation rate: $90/h before taxes and benefits
Are you a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist seeking meaningful work with a flexible schedule? We are currently partnering with a school that is committed to helping students develop the communication skills they need to succeed.
Position OverviewThe SLP will be responsible for conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy services. This role offers autonomy, professional collaboration, and the opportunity to positively impact student outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evaluation findings
Provide therapy services in one-on-one and small group settings
Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to support student progress
Monitor and document student development and adjust interventions as needed
Maintain thorough and accurate records, including session notes and progress reports
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist (non-teaching or teaching) endorsement
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience conducting speech and language evaluations with adolescents or young adults, preferably in a school or therapeutic setting
- Demonstrated experience working with students with emotional/behavioral disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and/or developmental disabilities
- Strong skills in developing and implementing IEP goals related to communication
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, team-based approach
