Truck/Trailer Mechanic - Full-time

Climate Engineering Companies is a Heavy-Duty Truck, Trailer and Transport Refrigeration Unit repair company with multiple locations. We are looking for a highly motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician that will be responsible for completing maintenance tasks in and around our newly constructed nineteen bay shop located in Cheshire, CT.  Their duties will include preserving the quality of the facility.

We are looking for individuals who can work independently to perform the following duties:

• Accident damage to exterior, interior and structural components
• Repair worn out components such as cross members, side rails, couplers, landing gear, suspension, bumpers, brake lining and all air brake components
• Preventative maintenance programs
• FHWA inspections

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs. and have own basic tools.
• Ideal candidates must work well independently and not need constant supervision.
• Technicians are expected to maintain a professional relationship with the customers, while producing quality work.

*Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen, and have a clear driving record.
