About this job
Essential Job Functions:
• Makes sucrose and blends to the proper specifications.
• Washes liquid sugar tankers and trailers
• Sanitizes interiors of trailers and pumps/hoses
• Washes the outside of sugar tankers and trailers
• Moves trailers to be washed
• Load/Unload railroad cars/trucks as needed
• Cleans work areas
• Scales trucks in and out
• Prepares and completes all needed paperwork
• Heats rail cars
• Operates company vehicles, as needed
• May be assigned to duties in other departments
• Any other duties as requested directed or assigned by the manager/supervisor
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience (Licenses and Certifications):
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Experience jockeying trailers helpful
Equipment to Be Used:
• Pressure Washer, Yard Truck, Extension Wash Brushes, Refractometer, Steam Lines, Auger System, etc. All relevant liquid department equipment.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to work under stress with interruptions and deadlines
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Ability to master basic math skills
• Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions
Essential Physical Demands:
• Prolonged periods standing and walking, using tools and performing repetitive actions
• Must be able to lift 50lbs at a time
• Visual acuity to read instructions and operate machines
• A separate, complete document of physical demands is attached

Working Hours:
• Standard working hours for 2nd shift are: 2pm – 10pm Monday through Friday and as necessary to complete the requirements of the position
• Overtime may be required, and hours are subject to change based on company needs
• Employees are required to clock in 10 minutes before the beginning of the shift
