Maintenance Technician

• Adhere to safety practices at all times
• Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions
• Perform pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, controls/PLC troubleshooting and repair
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure CNC machines are in good mechanical order
• Complete daily preventative maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, adjustments, and inspections
• Perform general facility troubleshooting and repair, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and light construction tasks
• Participate in special projects as required, including design and repair work on material handling and mechanical systems
• Support continuous improvement teams
• Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance/CNC maintenance experience OR technical education in a related field from an accredited institution
• Working knowledge of machine tool assemblies and assemblies of mechanical components
• Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and follow electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and component prints
• Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects
• 5+ years of maintenance and/or CNC maintenance experience (preferred)
• Experience troubleshooting and repair of CNC machines (preferred)
• Experience operating CNC machines (preferred)
• Experience troubleshooting controls/PLCs (preferred)
• Experience with Fanuc controls (preferred)
• Familiarity with Makino CNC machines (preferred)

• Compensation for this position ranges from $22 to $35 per hour, depending on experience.

This position operates on a 1st shift weekend schedule, work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours.
