Cornhusker Auto Group is searching for a talented Service Writer to join our team. As an Auto Service Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing the repair and maintenance process for our valued customers, utilizing your expertise in automobile terminology.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service
• Analyze customer concerns and diagnose issues to recommend suitable services
• Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and associated costs, utilizing automobile terminology
• Write precise and detailed repair orders for technicians to follow
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns
• Maintain precise records of customer interactions and transactions
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with technicians to ensure prompt and efficient service
• Participate in continuous training and development programs to stay up-to-date with the latest automobile technology and terminology

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as an Auto Service Consultant or related field required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a thorough understanding of automobile terminology
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have extensive knowledge of automotive repair processes and terminology.
• Proficient computer skills
