Typical Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on various types of landscape equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools.

• Service and repair gas and diesel trucks, ensuring all safety and performance standards are met.

• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues with heavy equipment, such as loaders, excavators, and skid steers.

• Complete inspections to identify potential mechanical issues and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner.

• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs on all equipment.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety guidelines and protocols.

• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a mechanic, preferably in landscape or similar industries.

• Strong knowledge of small engine repair, gas and diesel engine troubleshooting, and heavy equipment maintenance.

• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during evening hours.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

• Valid Driver’s License with good driving record. 

• High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in automotive or diesel technology are a plus.

$24.00 - $30.00 per Hour
