Typical Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on various types of landscape equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools.
Service and repair gas and diesel trucks, ensuring all safety and performance standards are met.
Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues with heavy equipment, such as loaders, excavators, and skid steers.
Complete inspections to identify potential mechanical issues and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs on all equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety guidelines and protocols.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a mechanic, preferably in landscape or similar industries.
Strong knowledge of small engine repair, gas and diesel engine troubleshooting, and heavy equipment maintenance.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during evening hours.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in automotive or diesel technology are a plus.
$24.00 - $30.00 per Hour

Up to 80 hours of Paid Time Off accrued can be earned each year.
