Fire Suppression & Extinguisher Technician - Full-time

Universal Fire Protection is looking to hire a hire motivated Kitchen Suppression and Extinguisher Technician for our rapidly growing Fire Protection division.  Duties to include: inspection, installation and repair of pre-engineered kitchen fire suppression systems (hoods) from various manufacturers and service and inspect fire extinguishers.  This includes leveraging our industry-leading expertise for system testing and inspections, identification of NFPA code and non-conformance issues, and on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs.  Maintain inspection and repair documentation on all work performed.  

Qualifications 

• High School diploma/GED required
• 2+ years of fire protection experience a plus
• Mechanical Skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license required
• Know and understand NFPA10
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
