Experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician

As part of the Maintenance department, you will use your troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues with equipment, and make repairs to Injection Molding and Blow Molding machines and other production equipment, to make a difference for our operation and customers by minimizing delays in production orders. Use skills such as rigging, repair work, mechanical, welding, and/or fabricating to help complete projects in the Maintenance Department.

This is a hands-on position. We are looking for someone with previous experience working on industrial equipment and machines. Candidates with hydraulics knowledge and experience will receive preferential consideration.

JOB DUTIES

• Communicate with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize projects
• Electrical and electronics troubleshooting and diagnosis
• Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and diagnosis
• Equipment maintenance and repair
• Assist with new equipment installations
• Preventative maintenance projects
• Communicate project completion status with management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Understanding of industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and electrical systems
• Ability to read electrical blueprints
• Ability to read industrial hydraulic schematics preferred
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems 
• Previous machine maintenance service/repair experience
• Ability to switch from one project to another quickly
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
• Self-motivated
• Detailed and organized

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager.

HOURS

• Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm – with possible overtime and on-call work**

**Candidate will need to be located in or near Sioux Falls area. Will discuss further with candidates under consideration for the position.

COMPENSATION

• This full-time position will be compensated based on experience and includes our comprehensive benefit package of Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, short term-long term disability and a 401k plan with company match. 
• We offer a competitive salary that is typically $27-$37/hour. Start rate may vary based on related experience to the job.
