Join our team as a Landscape Enhancement Crew Leader in Conway, PHX, where dedication and experience meet opportunity. This full-time role offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment, primarily from Monday to Thursday, with variable hours starting at 7:00 am. Occasional Friday and weekend work may be required. The Enhancement Crew Leader is responsible for executing landscape installation tasks safely and efficiently, ensuring our company's high standards for quality, production, and customer service are met or exceeded.
Responsibilities- Execute daily landscape installation activities in line with our Quality and Industry standards.
- Ensure safety and security for yourself, team members, and customers on job sites.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and follow instructions from supervisors on assigned projects.
- Utilize knowledge in Planting and Sodding to interpret landscape plans and ensure optimal growth environments.
- Operate and maintain landscape equipment and tools, applying Grading knowledge and skills.
- Evaluate and operate irrigation systems as needed.
- Communicate effectively with crew leaders, customers, and other crew members.
- Resolve problems with urgency and sound judgment, maintaining a focus on safety.
- Foster positive relationships with customers, managers, and other employees.
- 1-2 years of experience in landscape installation or related tasks.
- Basic knowledge of Irrigation, Grading, Planting, and Sod techniques and tools.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively and courteously with others.
- Experience with Skid-steers, Compact track trenchers, and Excavators (Preferred).
- Irrigation knowledge and experience (Preferred).
- Valid driver's license (Preferred).
This role involves strenuous work in various weather conditions, with exposure to dirt, water, chemicals, and noise. Duties require using upper and lower body strength to work in different positions, handling tools, and lifting, pulling, and pushing materials and equipment. The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds is required. Crew Members travel from the main operations building to job sites in a company truck daily.
