  • Lead a team in daily horticultural maintenance operations, including weeding, pruning, planting, bed edging, and seasonal color installation.
  • Ensure high standards of garden bed care and overall property appearance.
  • Operate and maintain horticultural tools such as pruners, trimmers, bed edgers, blowers, and weed whippers.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices in horticulture, safety, and client service.
  • Manage time, materials, and labor efficiently to meet production goals and job quality standards.
  • Communicate with supervisors and account managers to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and according to client expectations.
  • Anticipate crew needs and ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and thoroughly.
  • Assist with seasonal clean-ups, mulching, and plant care as needed.
  • Monitor job sites for safety, quality, and crew productivity.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of professional landscaping or horticultural experience, including leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of horticultural practices including pruning, planting, weeding, and mulching.
  • Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using a wide range of landscape tools and equipment.
  • Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Chauffeur’s License or ability to obtain one prior to start date (preferred).
Compensation

Starting pay at $21.00 per hour, with competitive wages based on experience and skill level.
