We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Inventory Control Associate to support our food production facility by accurately accounting for all inventory related to the production of meal kit recipe boxes. We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Inventory Control Associate to support our food production facility by accurately accounting for all inventory related to the production of meal kit recipe boxes. This is a fast-paced role that requires precision, organization, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete daily inventory cycle counts and ensure FIFO rotation (First in First Out) throughout the facility
- Manage requisition of product from storage to production
- Record all inventory changes and enter data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Confirm product quality and quantity immediately after receiving processes are complete
- Understand and support the inventory needs of the Preparation Team to meet production targets
- Clearly communicate inventory changes to the Inventory Control Team Lead
- Troubleshoot and resolve inventory, product quality, and yield issues
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operational goals
- Minimum 12 years of experience using inventory mobile devices
- Minimum 12 years of inventory and/or food service-related experience
- Experience in receiving or inventory control related to produce or specialty food
- Standup Reach Forklift experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and offer process improvement suggestions
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to adapt and grow with changing job requirements
- Associate Degree (preferred but not required)
- Food safety certifications a plus
