Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track hospice medical supply inventory, place orders, and coordinate deliveries with vendors.
- Prepare materials and documentation for weekly Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings; distribute agendas, notes, and action items.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.
- Support communication between clinical staff, patients, families, and vendors.
- Assist with special projects, audits, and reports as assigned by management.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Experience in hospice, home health, or healthcare settings.
- Medical office or healthcare-related coursework.
