Position Overview


We are seeking a Hospice Clinical Assistant to provide vital administrative and clinical support to our hospice team. This role ensures that our operations run smoothly and that our patients and their families receive the highest quality care. Key Responsibilities


  • Manage and track hospice medical supply inventory, place orders, and coordinate deliveries with vendors.

  • Prepare materials and documentation for weekly Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings; distribute agendas, notes, and action items.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.

  • Support communication between clinical staff, patients, families, and vendors.

  • Assist with special projects, audits, and reports as assigned by management.

Qualifications


Required:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Preferred:


  • Experience in hospice, home health, or healthcare settings.

  • Medical office or healthcare-related coursework.
