Your Role

As a Physician at Inova-GoHealth, you’ll independently manage a wide range of clinical services, including:

• Diagnosing and treating acute conditions (e.g., colds, flu, infections, minor injuries)
• Performing office procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting)
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging
• Prescribing medications and developing treatment plans
• Supervising and collaborating with PAs/NPs
• Providing patient education and follow-up care

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• 2–5 years post-residency clinical experience (minimum 18 months in urgent care or similar setting)
• Experience treating both adults and children strongly preferred

Licensure & Certification

• Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine (ABMS or AOA)
• Active state medical license

Skills & Attributes

• Proficiency in urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, etc.)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
