Home Instead Care Professionals provide a variety of in-home non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their homes.

We service Wake County. Cities included: Raleigh, Knightdale, Wake Forest, Garner, Clayton, Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Holly Springs, Fuquay Varina and surrounding areas

Qualifications:

  • Age 18 or older
  • Have your own reliable transportation
  • Possess a valid driver's license, and valid auto insurance
  • Resilient and adaptable
  • Caregiving experience in a Home Care environment
  • Proficiency in Activities of Daily Living
  • Patient care skills
  • Ability to work with Alzheimer's and Dementia
  • Previous experience is a plus as a home health aide (HHA), personal care assistant (PCA), certified nursing assistant (CNA), registered nurse (RN),
  • Previous experience is also a plus as home-care caregiver, elderly-care caregiver, working at a senior living facility
  • A background check, DMV check, and drug screen will be performed by Home Instead

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Work in homes with pets (dogs, cats, birds, fish)
  • Mentor and support Caregivers
  • Provide quality care to the clients
  • Monitor and record health and behaviors of clients
  • Companionship and conversation
  • Assistance with ADL’s
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Alzheimer’s and dementia care
  • Transportation and errands
