Job Description:

As a Registered Nurse in the Tele Float Pool, you will be required to float between various units including both Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units. You will work 12-hour night shifts with responsibilities including titrating cardiac drips and interpreting EKGs. You must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to contract signing and a Sim Lab on the first day of orientation.

Responsibilities:

• Titrate cardiac drips such as Amiodarone and Cardizem.
• Interpret EKGs and monitor telemetry.
• Float to ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, and all MedSurg units as required.
• Work 2 of 3 major holidays and 4 weekend shifts per schedule.

Requirements:

• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to contract signing (2 attempts allowed).
• Ability to float between Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses.
• Must pass a pass/fail Sim Lab on the first day of orientation.
