Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Foreman to oversee daily operations on residential and commercial job sites. The Site Foreman will manage crews, ensure safety compliance, coordinate equipment and materials, and deliver projects on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead crews on land clearing, excavation, grading, demolition, hauling, and site preparation projects.
Assign daily tasks, monitor productivity, and adjust schedules as needed.
Enforce OSHA and company safety standards; conduct toolbox talks and maintain a safe work environment.
Oversee proper use and maintenance of heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, bulldozers, chainsaws, dump trucks, etc.).
Review plans and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
Inspect work for quality control, proper grading, and project readiness.
Track daily logs, material use, and crew attendance; report progress to management.
Solve on-site challenges quickly and effectively.
Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members to maintain high performance standards.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years in a foreman, lead, or supervisory role in excavation, grading, land clearing, or related field.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (vocational or construction management training preferred).
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret site plans and blueprints.
Licenses/Certifications:
OSHA 10 (required); OSHA 30 preferred.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in all weather, lift/move materials, and operate equipment safely.
Leadership Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
