Job Description
The Membership Coordinator is responsible for helping to maximize member-happiness and occupancy at SF House, a 55-room coliving rental property.
Your primary focus is on attracting prospective members and guiding them through our new membership process. Sometimes you’ll do in person tours at the property, other times you’ll be communicating with prospective members via virtual meetings and calls.
This is a part-time position with room for growth.
Responsibilities and Duties
Welcome and engage all prospective and current members, providing a professional, informative, and positive experience.
Conduct tours of SF House facilities, highlighting amenities and community benefits to prospective members.
Actively manage outreach, lead generation, and follow-up efforts to convert prospects into members.
Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring all leads are addressed immediately.
Maintain detailed records of interactions with prospects.
Guide prospects through the membership application process, ensuring compliance with SF House policies and applicable regulations.
Follow up with applicants on application status and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new members.
Coordinate with the House/Resident Manager to welcome and orient new members to SF House.
Ensure membership spaces are prepared for new members by communicating needs to the Resident Manager.
Assist in monitoring membership renewals, distributing renewal notices, and following up as needed.
Represent SF House professionally in all interactions, promoting its values and mission.

About You, Bonus
Experience in membership coordination, leasing, sales, community engagement, or a similar role.
Experience with digital marketing.
Strong knowledge of the San Francisco community or co-living market.
Preference for candidates with experience in co-living or shared housing environments.
Demonstrated success in sales or membership growth initiatives.
