Job Description
Business Analyst – Capital Markets
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team and help drive the successful implementation of our software products. In this role, you’ll partner with stakeholders across Operations, Technology, and Leadership to deliver insights, streamline processes, and ensure high-quality solutions for our customers.
What You’ll Do
Apply your knowledge of security settlements in Capital Markets (including the full settlement lifecycle) to support business and technology initiatives.
Collaborate with developers to analyze data structures, data sources, and system processes during software development.
Partner with cross-functional teams to align on best practices and maintain end-to-end process consistency.
Identify, investigate, and resolve systematic and data integrity issues across multiple platforms.
Conduct business and technical analysis for program initiatives and operational process reviews.
Create and maintain reports and dashboards with actionable metrics to track performance.
Prepare PowerPoint decks for senior leadership meetings.
Work within an Agile environment, contributing to user stories in JIRA and managing stakeholder expectations.
Navigate logs, execute Python scripts, and use command-line tools to support issue analysis.
What You’ll Bring
8+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
Strong understanding of Capital Markets security settlements; custody of assets/middle-office experience a plus.
Proven success in Agile business analysis, including stakeholder management and user story creation.
Proficiency with JIRA, Microsoft Teams, and MS Office.
Ability to compile and present executive-level reports and presentations.
Experience analyzing logs and executing scripts using Python/command line tools.
