Cavalier Indiana is currently seeking a Night Crew Team Lead for our warehouse. This full-time position working Monday through Thursday approximately 3 - 11 pm and on Fridays approximately 3 - 7 pm or until all work is complete.

Basic Function:


The Team Lead is responsible for the success, productivity, and quality of supply chain distribution within the warehouse, and ensuring a safe and efficient place to work. The Team Lead's responsibilities include: Shipping Operations (Pickers), and/or Office Operations (e.g., Routers, Analysts, General Office Associates). The Team Lead works with the Operations Manager to develop strategies and objectives toward maximizing productivity. The Team Lead must, solve problems, and lead by engaging both their teams and themselves in the continuous pursuit of progress.  Delegation is key by achieving their goals through teamwork and embracing and aligning their respective teams with the Operations Managers objectives.


Principle Responsibilities:

  •  Managing to ensure operational and safety excellence 
  • Safe environment and culture promotion through ongoing training, team engagement, and regular review.
  • Efficient operation of WMS (warehouse management systems) and equipment.
  • Slotting and product placement.
  • Facility, equipment, and staff appearance and integrity.
  • Coaching and training,  promoting paths to success and retention.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • 1-3 years of commensurate supply chain experience or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel software applications
  • Previous change management experience (driving, influencing and inspiring change through communication
  • Technology background, ability to learn new programs easily; Encompass experience would be a plus.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule. Ability to be on-call at various times.  Able to work most holidays.
