Job Description & Requirements

Job Requirements:
- Licenses/Certifications:
- ARRT (MR) (required)
- BLS (required)
- DC State License
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years MRI tech experience
- Experience with adult ICU, ER/Trauma (Trauma Level I required)
- Preferred experience in charge roles and teaching hospital environments
- Must have experience with Cerner charting system
- Experience with Siemens MRI equipment and PACS
- Skills:
- Strong MRI imaging knowledge across multiple areas:
- Abdomen and Pelvis (including MRA, MRV, MRCP)
- Head and Neck, Brain, Spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
- Chest, Breast, Cardiac MRI (stress and non-stress)
- Musculoskeletal imaging (foot, hand, hip, knee, shoulder, etc.)
- Advanced imaging techniques like CINE, Diffusion, Gradient Echo, Perfusion, MIP, MRP
- Preparation/administering contrast media
- Radiation safety
- Peripheral IV starts
- Strong MRI imaging knowledge across multiple areas:
