Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Providing electrical / controls support to facilities equipment. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to read and interpret blueprints, block diagrams, piping diagrams, ladder logic, schematic diagrams, electrical power distribution diagrams, P&ID, loop sheets, and motor elementary drawings. Successful completion of plant electrical assessment process. Some familiarity with Dashboard, PI, or SPC. Candidate must be willing to work alternating shifts, including nights/weekends/holidays. Required Education/Experience: High school or GED A two-year electrical or electronics degree with a minimum of two years of electrical industrial experience. Electrical License and/or Electrical Certifications 2-5 years of electrical experience. Preferred Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities: Experience with Computer / PLC controls, HMI, & associated components. Experience with industrial systems such as air compressors, chillers, vacuum systems (operation or troubleshooting). Root cause analysis techniques. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with others and participate in teams. Electrical contractor’s license, NFPA70e electrical safety certified, experience with wire pulling/conduit bending Working Conditions: Exposure to fumes, noise, oil, dirt, heat and cold temperatures.
