Oh, and we offer competitive pay and benefits in an excellent work environment, if we do say so ourselves, and we do./p p /p pstrongRequired Experience for Housekeeping: /strong/p ul liHigh school diploma and/or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience./li liPrior housekeeping experience preferred./li liYou love to laugh and have fun while working hard to provide excellent service./li /ul p /p pstrongPrimary Responsibilities for Housekeeping:/strong/p ul liCleans all areas as assigned according to the departmental standards, process, and procedures./li liMaintain clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas as directed, according to established standards, observing proper cleaning technique./li liMust possess the ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions./li liMust possess the ability to deal tactfully with associates, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public./li liMust be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc./li liMust be able to relate information concerning a resident�s condition./li liUses supplies in an economical and prudent manner; Reports supply and equipment needs to supervisor for replenishing./li liAbility to operate the following machines buffers, extraction equipment, vacuums and all commercial laundry equipment./li liAdditional duties as assigned or needed by Housekeeping Lead./li /ul p /p pstrongGeneral Working Conditions:/strong/p pThis position entails standing for long periods of time. The employee must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
