Pref previous retail experience but management experience will be considered!/strong/p pstrongPosition Summary:/strong Assistant Store Managers have direct supervision of all retail supervisors, and hourly staff who have access to the vault and/or registers. They have responsibility with regard to total store supervision on a day by day basis to meet the needs of the store and its customers./p p /p pstrongEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/strong The strongAssistant Store Manager/strong responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned:/p ul liPerforms all opening and closing procedures and responsibilities/li liEnsure that the store audits are maintained at or above an acceptable level/li liEnsure the LP Audits are maintained at an acceptable level/li liThe lead for the semi-annual inventory/li liMonitor all safe procedures and ensures all cash handling procedures are per policy/li liOversees supply management and ordering processes to ensure smooth store operations, while monitoring expenses to stay within budget for monthly and annual reporting./li liEnsures payroll expenses are aligned within budgeted parameters/li li pAble to delegate work to appropriate employees./p /li li pEnsure that all wage requests and payroll timekeeping is up to date for all employees/p /li li pResponsible for all employee reimbursements, petty cash, and travel related expenses/p /li liEnsures building and functions are properly maintained; submits and monitors maintenance requests/li liEnsure security and safety systems are in working order, including but not limited to door locks, alarms, bank deposits, refunds, vouchers, and incident reports/li /ul pstrongFull Cycle Hiring/strong/p ul liBe active in interviewing and onboarding new retail employees by following Goodwill's recruitment guidelines./li /ul pstrongLoss Prevention/strong/p ul liServes as the security "captain" for assigned store location - works in cooperation with management and Loss Prevention to protect company assets from internal and external theft./li /ul pstrongCustomer Service/strong/p ul liAbility to deliver exceptional customer service to a variety of customers./li /ul
