As a machine operator, you will work on a team of 6 – 7 operators and a team coordinator who are supported by the control room operator. Your team will make the compounds we send to other Prysmian plants to create the cable helping to transform the world around us!/divdivbr /bShifts:/b/divulliTraining will be M-F from 7a-3p for 4-6 weeks (training schedule is flexible). Upon completion of training, you will work 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule:ulliWeek 1: work M/T, off W/Th, work F/Sa/Su./liliWeek 2: off M/T, work W/Th, off F/Sa/Su.br / /li/ul/li/uldivbPay/b: /divulli$24.97 - $27.71 #43; $2/HR Shift Premium./liliMedical Dental, Vision Starts on Day One.br / /li/uldivbPrincipal Duties amp; Responsibilities:/b/divulliComplete routine production activities to keep production flowing./liliReport changes in the process and/or issues with the system./liliComplete cleanouts following appropriate procedures./liliEnsure materials, systems, and tooling are ready for the next run before the active run is completed./liliCooperate with other associates to accomplish daily housekeeping tasks./liliComplete quality testing and make corrections as needed./liliRecognize and communicate safety hazards to ensure a safe work environment./liliUpdate systems as needed throughout the production process.br / /li/uldivbWho are we looking for?/b/divdivQualifications:/divulliCan perform basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and computer functions./liliAble to communicate and cooperate with other associates./liliCan lift loads up to 50 pounds and physically traverse throughout the multi-level facility./liliPossesses sufficient motor skills to safely operate and utilize a forklift.br / /li/uldivbPreferred Qualifications:/b/divulliA results-driven individual who has demonstrated the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance manufacturing environment./liliHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.br / /li/uldivbWorking Conditions:/b/divdivJob includes exposure to physical hazards associated with the maintenance and operation of major production and plant service equipment and exposure to the raw materials and service-related chemicals used at Prysmian.
