pspan style="font-weight: bold"ABOUT FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMUNITY BASED CORRECTIONAL FACILITY:/span/p pThe Franklin County Community Based Correctional Facility (CBCF) is a minimum security, American Correctional Association (ACA) accredited, residential prison diversion program for adult male offenders. The Franklin County CBCF is a 180-bed facility that houses adult male offenders (referred to as “residents”) for a maximum of 180 days. The CBCF believes community safety is of upmost importance. Second is targeting residents’ criminogenic needs via intense cognitive behavioral programming in an effort to reduce their likelihood of recidivating. Oversees and provides coordination of the facility’s cleanliness, organization, tool and chemical control, and other facility operations. Responsible for the initial admission process for resident intakes as well as responsible for a timely resident release procedure. Conducts daily facility rounds, zone searches, urine specimen screens, and resident body scans to ensure a safe and secure facility is maintained. Responsible for providing and maintaining proper inventory processes as well as ordering items critical to the facility’s safety, security, and operation. Collects, disburses, and maintains supplies pertaining to all aspects of the facility operations. Oversees the scheduling and monitoring of activities related to facility upkeep, including resident work-crews. Oversees of the facility’s camera, door control, and life safety equipment. Ensures all equipment is functioning as intended and requests the servicing of this equipment when warranted. Responsible for monitoring resident behavior, structured movement, and control of residents and activities in assigned areas. Reports directly to the Facilities Manager./p p /p pspan style="font-weight: bold"span style="text-decoration: underline"General Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions:/span/span/p ul liKnow, adhere to, and ensure the facility is following operational policies and procedures as established by the Governing Board, and appropriate regulatory agencies./li /ul ul liMaintains an atmosphere conducive to agency philosophy and humane treatment conditions. This includes providing positive daily interactions with staff, residents, and CBCF visitors./li liDirectly responsible for the efficient daily management of resident workers assigned to the Facilities Department. Coordinates, in conjunction with the Facilities Manager, resident work crews, assigns tasks, while maintaining direct oversight of the above-described entities./li liMaintain facility compliance with regulatory requirements such as, fire codes, fire suppression systems preventative maintenance, fire extinguisher inspections, domestic boiler temperatures, and other inspection requirements as directed by the Facilities Manager./li liMaintain facility compliance with expected standard practices and coordinate said practices. These include but are not limited to, conducting severe weather emergency drills and fire emergency drills./li liConduct security rounds of the internal and external areas of the facility property to ensure that the facility is safe, secure, clean, and in otherwise good repair. Report any subpar findings to the Facilities Manager and assist in the coordination of resolving the findings./li liResponsible for the completion of various facility logs./li liEnsures that new resident intakes are supplied with all items deemed necessary by the facility, such as clothing, linens, hygiene items and ensures a running inventory of all property supplied to residents and received by residents is held./li liCompletes urine specimen screens and body scans of residents upon intake.
