p style="text-align:left"bJob Description:/b/pThe Floor Care Tech performs floor care tasks according to detailed instruction and maintains the facility in a sanitary, safe, clean, and attractive environment to meet hospital and Joint Commission standards. This position also performs general housekeeping duties as assigned.amp;#xa;amp;#xa;pbEssential Functions/b/pulliProvides maintenance to hard surface floors by stripping, buffing, burnishing, scrubbing, and re-finishing according to procedure./li/ululliProvides maintenance to carpeted floors by vacuuming, extracting, and performing spot removal./liliUses cleaning and floor chemicals properly according to Joint Commission and OSHA standards./liliOperates and maintains assigned equipment according to established procedures/liliHandles equipment maintenance needs including reporting problems with equipment and facility timely and appropriately./liliPerforms general housekeeping duties as assigned./li/ulp/ppbShift Details/b/pullispan class="emphasis-3"5pm - 1:30am with rotating weekends/span/lilispan class="emphasis-3"40 hours per week / full time benefits/span/li/ulp/ppbSkills/b/pulli Floor Care/liliCarpet Cleaning/liliOperating Machinery Safely/liliAttention to Detail/liliAbility to work independently/liliCleaning/li/ulp/ppbQualifications/b/pulliDemonstrated communication skills to include differentiating color-coded labels and/or chemicals as well as following written and/or verbal directions./li/ululliAbility to work a flexible schedule when needed to meet the needs of the department/liliDemonstrated professional floor care experience. (Preferred)/li/ulp/ppbPhysical Requirements/b/pulli Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs./liliFrequent interactions with customers require employee to communicate as well as understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately./liliManual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use./liliExpected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transport, pull, and push equipment. Will also work on hands and knees and bend to set-up, troubleshoot, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.
