pThe Glebe is seeking a Dining Assistant to join our team.nbsp;/p pDining Assistants welcome diners, help them find seating and make sure they are comfortable and have a pleasant dining experience/p pstrongEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/strong/p ul liPresets dining areas in preparation for meal service/li liChecks dishes, linens and utensils for cleanliness/li liArranges buffet stations with food, garnishes and decorations according to service diagram/li liGreets customers pleasantly, reviews menu items and obtains meal orders/li liServes customers in accordance with service procedures, removes soiled dishes as courses are completed/li liCorrects errors and fulfills special requests promptly and courteously/li liPortions and plates food items according to service standards/li liFollows HACCP guidelines for food handling/li liDemonstrates dependability in attendance and completion of job tasks/li liPractices personal cleanliness, wears clean uniforms and hair coverings as per department dress code/li liApproaches customers and others in a courteous, friendly manner/li liCompletes other duties as requested by supervisors/li li pstrongMinimum Qualifications:/strong/p /li liAbility to read, write, speak and understand English/li liAbility to organize workloads and meet time deadlines/li liCourteous customer service attitude/li liWe offer competitive wages, the opportunity to work with a great staff, and a relaxed, friendly work environment!
