Technician, Field Service - Full-time

pPosting Deadline: 9/19/2025 or until position is filled.nbsp;/pp id="isPasted"General Summary/ppAs a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality installation, repair, and maintenance services for our telecommunications products and services. You will interact directly with customers, ensuring their satisfaction by resolving technical issues and providing exceptional support. Working collaboratively with a team, you will ensure that all towers are in good working condition, meet safety standards, and operate at maximum efficiency./ppEssential Duties/Responsibilities/pulliPerforms installations, disconnects, reconnects, add-ons, changes, and troubleshooting of telephone and high-speed Internet services at customer locations./liliConducts thorough assessments and diagnose technical issues related to internet, video, and telephone services./liliWorks both outside and inside customer premises, regularly climbing ladders and working on rooftops./liliDrives company truck between office, home, warehouse, and work sites in a safe and courteous manner, following all laws and company policies./liliInteracts with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing clear explanations of the features and functionality of installed products./liliCompletes basic performance testing and setup of installed services, including PC, Local Area Network, and Voice over Internet Protocol telephone equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and customer satisfaction./liliPromotes Rise Broadband services to customers, generating new accounts, service upgrades, and additional service offerings./liliAdheres to company procedures, policies, and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and productive work environment./liliMaintains accurate records of work orders, service updates, and customer interactions./liliWorks on regularly scheduled days as well as unscheduled days and/or beyond regular work hours due to customer or operational demands, as needed.nbsp;/liliAdheres to all Company standard procedures, policies and safety practices in the course of performing work activities./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpJob Requirements/pulliHigh school diploma or GED equivalent./liliValid state driver#39;s license and acceptable driving record in accordance with the Company#39;s Motor Vehicle Policy./liliExcellent customer service, time management, and problem-solving skills./liliWorking knowledge of PC and MS Office products./liliAbility to read and interpret technical information, such as repair manuals and parts books./liliStrong communication and interpersonal skills./liliSelf-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision./liliAbility to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and work on rooftops as necessary./liliFlexibility to work on scheduled and unscheduled days, including beyond regular work hours, to meet customer and operational demands./liliWillingness to travel and provide service within the assigned geographic area./li/ulpWorking Conditions/pulliEmployee is constantly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to frequently climb ladders and towers and work in an elevated position (up to 500ft). On a constant basis, must safely lift, carry and maneuver heavy or awkward objects 100 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
