Responsibilities:
ullispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Provide direct instructional support to individual and/or groups of students and monitor ability to follow directions and behavior./span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Implement treatment plans using ABA techniques./span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Collect data regarding student(s) reaching goals/objectives as directed by licensed staff./span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Assist staff in maintaining charts and other records related to student(s) progress./span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Reinforce academic behaviors taught by licensed staff and provide the student with opportunities to practice./span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Assist student in community, recreational, school, and leisure activities under the direction of licensed staff./span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Implement district approved techniques for verbal de-escalation and safe physical restraint, such as Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training./span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Perform other related duties as assigned and required by the building administration and licensed staff./span/li/ul
Qualifications:
ullispan style="font-size: 10pt;"High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"1-2 years’ experience working with children in a special need’s education setting preferred but not required./span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Ability to collaborate and receive to feedback, mentoring and direction from peers and supervisors/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Demonstrated experience in maintaining a professional and clinical perspective at all times, with the ability to not internalize or personalize (e.g. emotionally) in regard certain student behaviors or mannerisms that occur./span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Demonstrated experience using physical ability and dexterity to safely and effectively use Crisis Management Interventions (including the use of therapeutic holds) of all involved (e.g. self, student, other employees/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (stoop, reach, stand, kneel, squat, sit, walk, lift, pull, grasp) for extended periods of time./span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds./span/li/ulp style="margin: 0px;" /pp style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"CLC offers a competitive compensation plan, comprehensive benefits and 401K, tuition assistance reimbursement, and referral bonuses.
